The Internet is crowded with sites and it isn't easy to find a vacant domain suitable for a site about interaction design and usability. All the obvious names are taken.

After months of thinking and checking domain names, I came to think about one of my colleagues, a programmer, who has this habit of calling user interfaces "GUI" (the abbreviation of Graphical User Interface). His pronunciation - "guuui!" - makes it sound very insisting, and if you yell it out, it sound almost desperate. "What a nice name," I thought. Interaction designers are often desperate and have to be very insisting to get their ideas through. Just yell "GUUUI!" and you will be heard.
