Book: Card Sorting - Designing Usable Categories

Donna Spencer's book on card sorting is now available and a first review by Mathew Sanders is out. In his review, he concludes that:

"This is a great book for someone tasked with organising content on a website who is either unfamiliar or unconfident with card sorting. Read this book and absorb it's advice and you'll avoid countless mistakes that people often face with card sorting!"

Book about developing software without using computers. Much.

GuiMags, the company behind the magnetic interface whiteboard widgets, has published a book called The Unplugged - Join a new breed of software developers that don't use computers. Much.

From what I can read from the sample chapter, the book is about improving software development by moving change to the beginning of the process to avoid expensive late stage changes. I'll bet that the rest of the book has something to do with prototyping and GuiMags.

iPhone mock-up tool

With this online tool, you can create your very own sketchy looking iPhone mock-ups. I'm not sure whether this can be used for any serious stuff though. But fun, it is.
